Do I have to travel to Houston, Texas?
Generally, I prefer that my clients come to Houston to work with me. Most of my patients come from out of town and will get a hotel or vacation rental service. After we have met and a treatment plan is developed I will give you options for you to stay.

I will travel to do treatment in your state if it is. a "Psypact" state. Once we have met and a treatment plan is developed I will provide you that option if I think it is appropriate for you.

If you live in Houston I prefer home visits. I prefer to be where the OCD is instead of an office where OCD can find places to hide!
Do you take insurance?
I do not take any form of insurance at this time. I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can find helpful articles online to guide you through this process like this one.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require a 24-hour notice for cancellation of appointments in order to help other clients use newly-opened session times. The full session fee will be charged if notified less than 24 hours in advance.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate”
explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) of expected charges.
For intake and hourly therapy sessions you will receive a GFE with your intake paperwork. If Dr. Brandt develops an intensive treatment plan for you the cost for that treatment will be included with that plan.

The GFE shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for services provided. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. It does not take into account any reimbursement that you may receive as a result of out of network benefits.

The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur.

You will receive your GFE with your intake paperwork. If you receive a bill from us that is at least $400 above the good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure the save the copy of your good faith estimate upon receiving your informed consent.
